2020 – Giving Back, Growing Together
In 2020, the Obaasima Rita Foundation embarked on its first major outreach program under the theme “Giving Back, Growing Together.” This initiative marked the beginning of the foundation’s journey in transforming lives and supporting vulnerable communities.
The team visited a children’s home located at Airport Roundabout in Kumasi, where they provided essential donations including food items, clothing, and other basic necessities. The visit was not only about giving, but also about sharing love, hope, and encouragement with the children.
This impactful outreach laid the foundation for the organization’s commitment to combining compassion with action—setting the tone for future initiatives focused on both immediate support and long-term community development.

2021 – Empowering Change, Enriching Lives
In 2021, the Obaasima Rita Foundation continued its mission with the theme “Empowering Change, Enriching Lives.”Building on the success of its first outreach, the foundation extended its support to the community of Ofoase.
During this initiative, the team distributed essential items including food, clothing, and drinks to individuals and families in need. Beyond the donations, the visit created a meaningful connection with the community—offering encouragement, compassion, and a renewed sense of hope.
This program reinforced the foundation’s commitment to not only meeting immediate needs but also uplifting communities through care and support.

2022 – Empowering Ability Through Care
In 2022, under the theme “Empowering Ability Through Care,” the foundation deepened its impact by combining humanitarian support with sustainable development.
The team visited the Asante Akyem community, where they provided food, clothing, and essential supplies to residents. In addition to these donations, the foundation successfully constructed a borehole—ensuring access to clean and safe drinking water for the community.

This initiative marked a significant milestone, demonstrating the foundation’s dedication to long-term solutions that improve quality of life and promote community well-being.
